Appear local with a phonestar area call number
So how do these area call numbers actually work?
Naturally, it all starts when your customer sees your phonestar 01 or 02 STD number and decides to give you a call. The call is then instantly diverted to an existing phone line of your choice.
With phonestar, you can switch this number as often as you like - no charge.
Which means that even if you relocate to a new building or you just need incoming sales calls diverted for a day or two, your local area call number remains unchanged.
You can divert your area call numbers to a mobile too - from 10p a minute - depending on which mobile network you're with - check here Divert to Mobile.
Can I divert my phonestar area call number overseas?
We're pleased to say that you can divert phonestar area call numbers to absolutely anywhere on Earth! For more on this, check our International Routing.
Do I need extra equipment or anything?
No! With a phonestar area call number you don't need extra lines or extra equipment. Your regular phone receives calls on its original phone number in addition to the calls to the area call number(s).
Naturally, you can still make outgoing calls exactly as you could before.
Can I add additional services to my area call number?
You most certainly can!
To offer your clients a superstar service you just sign up for phonestar Virtual Office add-ons.
To give your callers a list of connection options, ask for phonestar Virtual Receptionist.
Add phonestar Divert Plan if you'd like to automatically divert calls to when the main line is engaged or not picked up.
To redirect calls to a new number at different times of the day - perhaps evenings and weekends - you'll need the phonestar Time/Day Plan.
You an also choose from phonestar Zone Plan (to manage your incoming calls by the town the customer is calling from), phonestar Call Queuing and the incredibly useful phonestar Voicemail to Email service.
