Call Japan for 2p/min
Here's what you do:
- Call Phonestar's Japan service number 0843 717 0505.
- When you're connected you'll hear a voice prompt asking you to key in the full international number you'd usually use, starting with 00 in the normal way
So, to call someone in Osaka you'd dial 0843 717 0505 then (for example) 001246 123456. - To end your call, hang up in the usual manner. The Phonestar call will be charged to your normal bill at only 2p per minute — any day, any time.
- Your Phonestar call shows up on your bill in the normal way, but the number dialed will show as 0843 717 0505. And rather than paying 11p per minute to call Japan using BT, you'll have paid 2p.
